Bromham W.I.

Bromham WI report

Bromham has returned to meetings at the Village Hall with a lovely concert in December when several of our other local WI’s supported us.  We also had a wonderful and generous raffle to celebrate our re-opening.  We also enjoyed a festive meal at Rockingham Castle, later in the month. This was followed by our January meeting when we had some lively and heart-rending discussions about the National Resolutions.

February saw us enjoying a talk by a visitor from Milton Keynes Gallery, Judy Kendrick-Simonsen,

who told us about how social changes made to fashion from 1918 to 1971.  We had the chance to see examples of the clothes and to model the hats, as well as to handle the accessories and jewellery.

We have also enjoyed a cream tea and tour of the Laura Knight art exhibition at Milton Keynes Gallery.  Again we were joined by other local WI’s, and we appreciated their company.
